My name is Helena Lintott and I’m a 23-year-old Warwickshire-based artist with a keen ambition to capture and celebrate life’s charming intricacies, using the textural and colourful versatility of paint and pen to detail the vibrancy of life as seen through my own lens.
I have been exploring the fertile nature of figuration for as long as I can remember, visually documenting my creative journey with the investigation of a diverse amalgamation of subjects and materials. My practice finds home primarily within the complexities of the human condition and its physical and emotional interactions with nature, architecture and vibrancy of light and colour.
Born from an imaginative, alfresco-style childhood spent frolicking in nature whilst investigating characterful critters through drawing, my creative inspiration has been long fixated upon life around me. When exploring this throughout secondary school, my appreciation of the human form met my intriguing study of psychology which stimulated a fresh, psychoanalytical direction, rich with dramatic baroque influences.
